A deceivingly large,
renovated, one-storey century home, well suited to the tourist and
business traveller alike. Our rooms feature full ensuite bathrooms and
have been personally decorated to reflect country style with modern
conveniences.
Midland has a busy, thriving downtown shopping area. There are many
unique gift shops, from antique to country to nautical and exclusive
ladies wear shops. The location of our Bed & Breakfast offers the
convenience of being able to walk to them all, but feel you are 'at the
cottage' at the same time.
Rooms & Suites:
Rose Suite
This is our largest
'Honeymoon' or 'Anniversary' suite. It has a queen bed, two person whirlpool
tub, separate living room with loveseat, which pulls out to a single bed,
fireplace, fridge, TV/VCR, movies, stereo, plus it's own entrance from the
side verandah, with an outdoor private sitting area with table and chairs for
your use.
$159/night - double occupancy.
Yellow Room
This is our 'century
room' with original trim, hardwood floors and picture windows overlooking the
garden, park and lake. It's equipped with a two person Jacuzzi whirlpool tub,
gas fireplace, queen bed, plus double pull-out sofa bed, fridge, TV/VCR,
movies, stereo CD player, table and chairs. It has a separate entrance from
the verandah, with an outdoor private sitting area with an umbrella table and
chairs for your use.
$149 plus taxes per night, double occupancy.
Green Room
Our 'hideaway' room,
decorated in cream and green with a tiled floor, two person whirlpool tub, gas
fireplace, Queen bed, sofa, ensuite bathroom, fridge, TV/VCR, movies, and
stereo. It has a separate entrance from the side verandah with an outdoor
private sitting area with table and chairs for your use.
$139 per night - double occupancy.
Blue Room
Features a full ensuite mirrored bathroom with a soaker tub, separate shower, 11
foot ceiling, Queen bed, fridge, wicker chairs, TV/VCR, movies, and CD player.
Whirlpool tub for two, and electric fireplace.
$129/night - double occupancy.
Guests also have full use of the guest lounge,
with card and games table for chess, or checkers and many magazines and
travel books. Our covered deck overlooking the garden, park and lake is also
open to all. For business travellers we have fax, telephone, Internet, copier
and printer available.
Breakfast
In the morning we have
a healthy, interesting breakfast for you to enjoy. We believe that a good
breakfast is a great way to start the day. We start with orange juice and lots
of fresh fruit, usually followed by another fruit dish, which could be baked,
sautéed or even mildly curried. Then you may have Duff, Slump or Betty, or
Apple/molasses pancakes, or Orange waffles. Our breakfasts are never dull, and
there is plenty of it! We also have bagels, whole-wheat bread, muffins and a
variety of cereals.
Refreshments are
available so if you arrive thirsty, please let us know! Our
kitchen is always open for coffee or tea. We also have bottled water available.

accommodations as having a strict, higher standard as set out by the AAA / CAA
Association.
The Inn also received an honourable mention from the Town of Midland Heritage
Committee, for the year 2001, "Historical Architectural Merit Award in the
Residential Category."
