Ideally Situated in Central San Jose.
Our house was build by
one of San Jose’s most prominent families in 1938 and the family continued to live in the
house until 1982. In renovating the house to a B&B we kept the character
of this beautiful old single family home to offer you a home away from
home.
We are located just four blocks east
of the National Museum, Barrio California, no more than 10 minutes
walking distance to the center of town. You can walk to all
museums and places of interest like National Theater, Jade Museum, Plaza
de la Cultura, Simon Bolivar Zoo as well as many very good restaurants,
bars of all kinds,
casinos and the infamous Hotel del Rey in minutes.
Living room with fire place and vaulted
wooden ceiling as well as dining room are used by our guests to relax,
meet friends, take an afternoon coffee or attend our free cocktail hour.
Complimentary tropical
break fast - all you can eat - is served on
the garden patio each morning from 6 to 10 am. Enjoy exotic fruit
juices, French bread, local preserves, fresh tropical fruit, Costa Rican
cheeses, eggs, bacon, mortadella, gallo pinto and other
specialties.
Our rooms are equipped with queen
size beds, private bath, ceiling fan, safe, TV, cable and small fridge,
stocked with a late night supply for you and your company. We offer
laundry service, free luggage storage and secure overnight parking ($10.00/night). Our rates are very competitive, double occupancy $45.00/night,
single $40.00. Inquire for long term stay and seasonal price breaks.
Our knowledgeable staff is fluent in German, French, Italian
and English and will assist you in all your tours around Costa Rica. We
arrange tours to the volcanoes, national parks, rainforests,
various islands and beaches or just a tour through the capital San Jose.
