The house was built in the 70´s and you will appreciate its rich woodwork, old-fashioned tiles, heavy thick walls and a roof structure, which ensure a cool house all day long. Three bedrooms have air conditioning, and we can provide fans for your comfort. The property has a character of its own, which will make you wish you could stay forever.

While enjoying a copious breakfast on the terrace, you will be able to appreciate not only the amazing and peaceful view, but also watch the humming-birds or discuss with the howler-monkeys.

We will help you plan your day, whether you want it full of action or just relaxing. With a days notice, we can arrange a packed lunch, afternoon tea and/or dinner, at additional cost. Your hosts are Agnes & Joe, a couple in their 40’s who moved from the snowy peaks of Colorado to sunny Costa Rica. They traveled there on their motorcycles and decided to settle down on the luxurious Pacific Coast of the Peninsula de Nicoya. They speak fluent French, English, Spanish and Portuguese and have knowledge of Italian and German. They are well traveled, friendly, open-minded, and very active and have been working in the service industry for several years. Their love of nature and wildlife was a big part in their decision to open Villa Mango. They will guide you in planning your day, making your airlines reservation from San Jose to Nosara and book your daily activities. And they can also teach you the basics of Salsa and Merengue.

Located in Costa Rica's beautiful Guanacaste province, in the Nicoya Peninsula, Nosara is approximately 150 miles west of San Jose, on the coastal road that connects Tamarindo to Samara. Rates

The prices below are in US Dollars, per room, and include room and breakfast daily. They do not include local taxes of 16.5%.  Wire transfer, Cash (US Dollars, Euros, Costa Rican Colones) and travelers’ checks in US dollars accepted. Additional person in room: $10/night. A/C is optional for an additional $10 per room per night in some rooms.

Cancellation Policy: 30-day notice required. Visa card required at time of booking. 50% of stay charged if cancelled within 30 days of arrival.
