Las Golondrinas
(the swallows) is an exclusive guesthouse in one of the quieter
areas of the Tepoztlán Valley. The main plaza of Tepoztlán is a
ten-minute ride by car or an easy 30-minute walk.
Each of our three guest rooms opens
onto an expansive terrace. We invite you to enjoy lounging in one of our
hammocks, or relax poolside, where you can enjoy the view of our fruit
filled garden, resplendent with ornamental trees and palms.
Las Golondrinas Bed & Breakfast is
the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate yourself. Why not take the
opportunity to enjoy a relaxing therapeutic massage or one of our other
energizing therapies.
We are located
at the hub of many interesting sites, including fascinating
Taxco, Cacahuamilpa Caverns, and the ancient Xochicalco pyramids. There
is also a route to several recently restored convents. For the
adventurous, a one hour hiking trail through the mountains will take you
to Tepozteco pyramid. Other mountain trails offer splendid scenic views
of the area.
Tepoztlán has a Spanish language
school conveniently located in town, making us an ideal location for
those wishing to learn or improve their Spanish. Market days are
Wednesdays and Sundays, when artisans offer a huge variety of original
arts and handicrafts.
