The
Moss House
is located 1 block from the Pamlico River. This 1902 North Carolinan
Homes exhibits the fine quality of the turn of the century. Each of
the four guest rooms contains a private bath. The large veranda is
perfect for relaxing while enjoying the lovely garden, or just enjoy
swinging on the back porch swing.
The Moss House Bed and Breakfast
features an elegant living room and dining room for guests' use and
enjoyment. The Moss House is casual and contemporary, but with a
subtle North Carolinan touch.
Most of the
rooms have the original carved wooden mantles surrounding colorfully
tiled hearths, and the fireplaces, though no longer functional,
recall the dedication to craftsmanship that was common when the
house was built a century ago in North Carolina.
