room is nestled by itself offering amenities including high-speed internet,

and make-up mirror. The inviting commons offer indoor waterfalls and
gardens, fireplaces, spectacular views of our private woodlands and courtyard,
the mountains, downtown
and midtown skylines and many birds and squirrels and an occasional moose.
Breakfast is available in our dedicated guest kitchen and Garden room.
Revered as an architectural masterpiece, the manor house was originally built in 1947 with additions in 1952 and 1962. Known by many as the original
mansion of Anchorage, it was designed for entertaining. Now, original Alaskan art adorns the solid redwood and custom bri ck walls and invites you to
experience the feel of Alaska in comfort and style.
During 4th of July festivities, we overlook Mulcahy Park for fireworks.
Within a 5-10 min. walk is Sullivan Arena for The Great Alaskan Shoot Out
basketball tournament, UAA hockey games, trade shows and many other events. The airport and train station and most business centers are
within a 10 minute drive. Our cruise guests will be happy to know that
Egan Convention Center is located in city center near the Visitor’s Log Cabin,
shopping, restaurants and sightseeing, all within 6-14 walking blocks or five
minutes by taxi.

From airport: Int'l
Airport Rd. to N or "to downtown" on Minnesota Bypass, Right onto 15th Ave.,
cross over "E" and "C" streets. In 3 blocks watch for a brown fence on
right and turn into opening in fence into driveway.
