Bed and Breakfast is located only ten minutes away from
the Ramsey Canyon
Nature
Preserve and the San Pedro Riparian Area, central to internationally
recognized key birding areas. We are located eighty miles
southeast of Tucson, Arizona.
Birders Vista is a quiet retreat at
4600 feet elevation with beautiful views of the Huachuca and Mule
mountains. It is a stucco home on 4 acres, with reading library of 1500
books, cozy living room with fireplace, stereo, wireless high speed
internet access, TV, VCR, DVD and telescope for guests.
In season, you will find fresh
flowers in your room and enjoy fresh fruit from the fruit orchard on the
north side of the house. In August we will have plums and
peaches. Apples and pears later in the summer and fall. All
organic fruit. We now have jelly from the great tasting organic
plums.
Sit on the veranda or under the
pergola in the backyard garden and enjoy the birds watching you as they
come to feed. Up to 300 species have been seen in the this area of
Arizona. The Great Horned Owls are here all year in our tall
pines. Prices:-
Suite - 1 night $140, 2 nights $135 per night, 3 nights or more
$130 per night.
Rooms - 1 night $99, 2 nights $94 per night, 3 nights or more $89 per night.
Per Diem and military rates accepted. There is no tax added to the room prices.
Directions:-
Drive south on highway 92 for 6.3 miles from intersection of highway 90
and 92 in Sierra Vista. Or 3.1 miles south from the intersection of
Buffalo Soldier and highway 92 in Sierra Vista. Turn left on East Ramsey
Road, go four (4) miles. Turn left on Moson road, go four tenths
(.4) of a mile. Turn left on Madera, go one (1) mile. We are
located at corner of Madera and Kino road.
