The J. Patrick House blends with its wooded setting above
the charming village of Cambria. From the main log home, stroll through the
lovely garden under the passion-vine covered arbor to enter the charming
carriage house. Here you will find seven beautifully decorated rooms. The
décor is pure country elegance.
At 5:30 each day enjoy the company of guests and your hosts
in the cozy living room of the log home. Gather around the fireplace with
your choice of homemade hors d' oeuvres complimented by fine wines. We serve
a full breakfast in our Garden Room where you can watch the Hummingbirds
drink from the flowers. You'll enjoy our "killer" chocolate chip cookies and
milk before bedtime.
Nearby attractions include Cambria's many art galleries,
antiques stores, quaint shops and award winning restaurants. Visit the local
wineries, the splendor of Hearst Castle or take a breathtaking drive to Big Sur
on Highway One.
Visit the elephant seal rookery just minutes north of town on scenic Highway
One. Pack a picnic lunch and explore the many beaches and coastal trails. We
have some hot spots we can share with you. Definitely don't forget your
camera!

Exploring the wineries and boutique
vineyards throughout the Central Coast is an enjoyable pastime in itself
- cycling between vineyards is a popular option in and around Paso
Robles and along the coast itself or explore the regions by car.
Of course a picnic basket lunch is always worth considering. The Central
Coasters are well known worldwide for their friendly and relaxed
lifestyle and welcome visitors warmly to their shops. Feel yourself
succumb to the leisurely way of life, relax and unwind over a glass of
wine while enjoying all that the Central Coast has to offer.
Cambria and the surrounding area offers
a wealth of activities. While most travelers think no further than
Hearst Castle, others have come from around the world to take part in
the myriad of activities available to all who visit the Central Coast of
