At the Plantation you will wake up to sunshine, the
sound of chirping birds and the aroma of Chef Marie's lavish gourmet
breakfast. The meal begins with a buffet laden with freshly picked fruit
from the local fields, Marie's Famous granola, fresh baked culinary
creations and ends with a sumptuous hot entree'.
Every morning, Scott
picks oranges from the plantation groves for freshly squeezed orange
juice. Enjoy this memorable meal in the elegant dining room or sit
outside in the spacious brick courtyard overlooking the pool and
gardens. In the last six years over 17,000 people from 85 countries have
enjoyed Chef Marie's breakfast.
The swimming pool, which is heated in the spring and
fall, plus the Jacuzzi Hot Tub, always heated and located out in the orange
grove for privacy, are open 24 hours. So you can wrap up your day in one of our
fluffy robes, slip out to the Jacuzzi to soak, unwind and enjoy millions of
stars in the peaceful country night.
The Entrances to
Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks are only 16 miles from
the Plantation.
At Giant Forest, in Sequoia Park, is the General
Sherman Tree. The largest tree in the world, standing 275 feet high and
103 feet in circumference. The second largest tree in the world, the
General Grant Tree, and the Nation's Christmas Tree is located at Grant
Grove in Kings Canyon. Both
parks provide a hiker's domain of spectacular peaks, canyons, lakes and
streams, threaded with a thousand miles of trails. Connecting the two
national parks is the Generals Highway, a 46 mile long scenic road from
Ash Mountain through Giant Forest to Grant Grove. The highway reaches
7,643 feet at Big Baldy Saddle. This highway and branch roads take you
to such attractions as Moro Rock, Crystal Cave, Crescent Meadow, Big
Stump Grove and Roaring Fork Falls. You can enjoy Lake Kaweah, only 2-miles from the Plantation, or drive to Mineral King, a peaceful valley
beneath the peaks of the Great Western Divide.
We are unable to provide for pets and have a non-smoking
policy indoors as a c ourtesy to all our guests. A 10% local bed tax is not
included in room prices.
Rooms are for one or two persons only. Older children are
welcome upon special arrangement.

Cancellation Policy: If it is necessary to cancel a
reservation, there will be no charge only if the reservation is cancelled more
than seven days before the scheduled arrival date (14 days for holiday
weekends). Credit card will be charged 7 days prior to your arrival for the full
amount due, which is non–refundable. Guests are responsible for payment of all
nights reserved, regardless of guests' actual arrival or departure date.
