Our classic Victorian wraparound veranda provides an idyllic setting from which to enjoy the breathtaking views of peaceful Manitou valley and majestic Pikes Peak. The outdoor hot tub, set in a beautifully landscaped, private garden, invites you to relax, unwind, and renew your spirit. Enjoy the comfort and romance of queen-size pillow-top mattresses, draped bed canopies, private baths, plush robes, in-room whirlpool tubs for two, fireplaces, fresh flowers, in-room sitting areas with cable TV and DVD/CD player and in-room phones. A delicious gourmet breakfast, including an entrée and a continental buffet, is served on the veranda or in our gracious dining room, and complimentary drinks and snacks are provided at all times.

The Peacock is walking distance to the heart of historic Manitou Springs with art galleries, antique shops, fine restaurants, ancient mineral springs, Pikes Peak by car or Cog Railway, Miramont Castle and Iron Springs Chateau Dinner Theater.

Area attractions include Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, Cliff Dwellings, the Air Force Academy and the Royal Gorge. The area abounds with beautiful mountain trails for hiking, biking, snow shoeing and cross-country skiing. Serengeti:
This is a large room with stunning views from 4 windows that overlook Manitou valley and 2 large skylights. It has a masterful carved mahogany queen bed, a sitting area with a loveseat and chair, a 3-sided gas fireplace, in-room phone, cable TV and a DVD/CD player. The private attached bathroom has an extra large, 2-person Jacuzzi bathtub with a marble shower surround and pedestal sink. The décor is very elegant. The loveseat is a twin-size hide-a-bed.

Eden's Garden:
This wonderfully romantic room has an antique brass, queen-size daybed with draped canopy, and a sitting area with comfortable chairs, in-room phone, cable TV, and DVD/CD player. The large private attached bathroom has an extra large, 2-person Jacuzzi tub and shower, coral marble floor, and antique vanity. This cozy room has a collection of reproduction Victorian fans.

Marrakesh Suite:
This large, 850 square foot suite is reminiscent of a Moroccan tent, full of rich colors and patterns. It includes a very large bedroom with a queen bed and a trundle bed that sleeps 2. The ceiling and bed are lavishly draped with a softly flowing fabric. The living room has lots of seating that is perfect for relaxing and cuddling, and cable TV, a VCR and CD player for watching a movie or listening to your favorite music. Step out a French door onto your own private patio with wonderful views of the valley. The outdoor hot tub is tucked in the garden just around the corner. The Marrakech also includes a private full-service kitchen with coffee, tea, hot chocolate and snacks provided. Cook a romantic dinner with your partner, pack a picnic lunch, order in Thai food or just chill some wine or ice cream to enjoy without ever stepping out of your private retreat. Vintage Lace:
This large sunny room has a mahogany four-poster queen bed with a very romantic draped canopy. A sitting area is provided with loveseat, in-room phone, cable TV, and DVD/CD player. This sunny, open room has beautiful views of the valley and includes artwork depicting French Chateau. The private attached bathroom includes a period pedestal sink, 2-person jetted tub and separate shower. A rollaway bed is available upon request.

Veranda Rose:
This lovely room is reminiscent of a Victorian veranda. It has a queen size, four- poster bed with draped canopy, a sitting area with a wicker loveseat and chair, in-room phone, cable TV, DVD/CD player and a fireplace. The private attached bath has a marble-topped vanity and a glass shower. The décor is quite lovely with a Ralph Lauren rose comforter and rose wallpaper in the bath. A rollaway bed is available upon request.

Ribbon & Roses:
This charming, Victorian room has a mahogany, four-poster queen bed with and a sitting area with comfortable easy chairs, in-room phone, cable TV, and DVD/CD player. The private attached bathroom has an original claw-foot tub, shower, and a large antique dresser that has been converted to a vanity.

Starry Night:
This is an interesting and unique room with a skylight, angled ceilings and a beautifully draped queen bed. Artist Edward Hughes' stunning "Night with Her Train of Stars" is displayed. The private attached bath has a small, original claw-foot tub and hand shower. Cable TV and DVD/CD player are provided.

Directions:
Take I-25 to Hwy 24/Cimmaron and go west. Go past the Manitou Avenue exit and take the next left, across from the Cliff Dwellings. Take the 1st right on Washington. Take the 1st right on Sheridan. Immediately take a left on Lincoln. Go past Floral on the left and we're the 2nd house on the left.
