The Garden Walk Bed and Breakfast Inn is Lookout
Mountain's newest and finest vacation get-away. Nestled among the
mountain's 100 year old pines, and surrounded by gardens, it is a
patchwork fantasy of nostalgia and whimsy - a place where bicycles and
boots are planters, rhododendron are trees, kitchen gardens grow plates
as well as flowers, and the sound of a waterfall can be heard as you
stroll down woodsy paths.
You can find romance and fantasy
in "Lavender and
Lace" and "Sunshine and Roses," nostalgic memories of yesterday in
"Forget-me-not," or a touch of the wild west in "The Wild Rose, the best
little establishment in Georgia." You might spend a cosy fireside
evening in "Enchanted April" or tucked away in "Robin's Nest." Or travel
to exotic places in one of the Garden Walk's two Jacuzzi suites, "Out of
Africa" and "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil."
What ever your mood, there's a room at the Inn designed for you. Just
tell owner/operators Erma and Ed Caballero, your dream and they'll point you
to the room that will make it come true!
Directions:
From
Chattanooga follow the signs to Rock City (you can't miss them). Once on the
mountain continue past the arrow pointing to Rock City for another half mile
until the road ends in a "T" directly in front of the Methodist Church. Turn
right and then almost immediately veer right. You will see the Garden Walk on
your left within 100 feet.
From 1-24 East (coming from Nashville, Birmingham etc.)
Take exit 174, turn right at the bottom of the ramp, and then veer left on to
Cummings Highway. Follow signs to Ruby Falls up the mountain. Once you pass Ruby
Falls, follow signs to Rock City past Mountain Memories Souvenir shop, a ball
field, a small business district, and an intersection with 4-way stop signs and
a blinking light. Continue 7 tenths of a mile from that intersection; the Garden
Walk is on your right.
