Captain Cook is 25 minutes from Kailua-Kona and 35 minutes from Keahole Kona International Airport. From Keahole Airport-Kona, turn right onto Highway 19 South. This road becomes Route 11 after Kailua-Kona. Look for green mile markers on the left hand side. When you reach mile marker 110 in Captain Cook , turn up the hill onto Kiloa Rd. Go to the very top of this road (1/2 mile), the lane turns from a 2-lane to a single lane. At the top, turn right on Kinue Rd, follow this winding road (1/2 mile) until you reach the next junction at Greenwell Mountain Rd. Turn left at Greenwell Mountain. Rd, then left again at Bamboo Rd. Cedar House is located on the left hand side of Bamboo Rd.
