A Unique Bed and Breakfast
Located in Lanikai (Kailua) on the Island of Oahu

Find romance, solitude and more at Hawaii’s Hidden Hideaway. Considered one of the best B&Bs on the island, this special getaway will make you feel that you are in another world. This unique Bed and Breakfast in paradise is ideal for that special occasion, for honeymooners, a family vacation or those on business.

Only a short walk to the world famous Lanikai and Kailua Beaches, with pristine turquoise waters and fine white sand. Watch the sunrise from your private lanai, listen to the ocean on a quiet night or walk on the beach and watch the moonrise between the islands. This distinctive spot on the Windward side of Oahu is only a 30-minute drive from Waikiki, Honolulu or from the airport. Five minutes away, in the quaint town of Kailua are some of the best restaurants on the island, antique shops, and rentals for kayaks and windsurfing.

Come and Enjoy the area:

Visit the Kailua Beach Park.  Take a ¼ mile swim out to Flat Island. Or go for a long walk along the 5 miles of white sandy beach or just loll on the sand and watch the world go by.  It’s also a great spot to watch the kayaks, wind surfers and kite surfers.  Nearby Kalapawai Market (the green country store) and across the street at the Kailua Beach center you can find food and other items for the beach.

Go surfing at Kalama Beach Park.  This is a great place for beginners to learn to boogie board, bodysurf or ride a surfboard.  This is an excellent place for younger children to learn, as it is relatively shallow with a sandy bottom and the gentle waves offer a 30-yard ride.  Board rentals are available at several locations in Kailua.

Paddle a Kayak and paddle out to Flat Island or to the Mokulua Islands (also known as the Mokes).

Learn to Windsurf. There are several rental companies right at the north end of Kailua Beach Park behind the Kalapawai Market, where you can get lessons.  The trade winds usually blow onto the beach, which makes a great place to learn or watch the experts.

Try Kite Surfing - The latest craze at the beach.

Visit Lanikai Beach.  The sunrises are spectacular and it is a quiet beach to lounge in the sun. Lanikai Beach has consistently been one of the top 5 beaches in the world.

Take a Hike.  Kailua is relatively level and besides the beaches we have several trails and walking paths around Kailua and Lanikai.  The dike along the Kawai Nui Marsh is a great hike at the beginning of town off the Pali Highway.  The 9 mile Manawili trail that takes off from the hairpin turn on the Pali Highway is another. Breath-taking views can be seen from the top of the ridge over Lanikai or the top of Mount Olomana for the adventurers.  There is an Oahu hiking guidebook in each of the units at the B&B.

Visit the Botanical Garden. Visit the Park or take a nature walk in the forest. Entrance to the Park is FREE.

Visit the Open Market.  The open market sets up every Thursday morning from 9:00-10:00 AM.  Suggest you get there early.  It is located in the parking lot at the Kailua District Park on Kainalu Avenue.  Along with mainland produce, it offers locally grown vegetables, fruit, flowers and fresh fish in an open-air atmosphere.
