China Doll II (Our Larger Unit):
The open, luxurious main living room of our larger unit adapts to
provide the appropriate atmosphere for your needs. The frosted-glass French
doors in the entryway close to provide a cozy, intimate living room atmosphere
in which you can relax just as you would in your own home. Think quietly while
rocking in one of two wooden gliding chairs, or sink comfortably into the plush
leather sofa. You can also enjoy your favorite cable programs or one of the many
videos provided on the 32" color television.
Enjoy your meals in the open, airy dining room.
The dining area is located just a few steps from both the gourmet kitchen
and numerous large windows overlooking the balcony and garden. The result is a
feeling of roominess conducive to your good appetite. And since we always keep in mind your occasional need to entertain guests of
your own, the dining table expands to seat up to eight people.
 Our gourmet kitchen is second to none.
Those who love to cook will find a slice of heaven in China Doll II. We
proudly provide the most modern and highest-quality appliances and cookware to
allow you to prepare the most sumptuous meal you can imagine.
The gas range, oven, and open grill are provided along with an assortment of
gourmet pots, pans, and cooking utensils for every kind of preparation. We've
even had guests from out of town bring their families here for Thanksgiving
dinner!
Restful sleep awaits you in the nicely appointed master bedroom.
China Doll II's master bedroom alone has more amenities than many hotels.
The queen-size bed is mounted in floor-to-ceiling cherry wood cabinetry that
also houses the entertainment system controls for the entire apartment. A
skylight over the bed can be opened or closed to accommodate your lighting
preference. There is even an in-wall safe where you may choose to store your
valuables.
Nestled in the wall opposite the bed is a beautiful gas-log fireplace, the
perfect touch for relaxation or romance. The master bedroom also features a 32" television and stereo speakers for
when you feel like being visually or musically entertained at bedtime.
Enjoy the private deck and lovely garden view.
From the office and dining area, exit onto China Doll II's private
hardwood deck where you can dine, nap in the hammock, or simply relax while
gazing at the lush garden below. For our guests who enjoy the outdoors, we also offer a complimentary beach
buggy and umbrella for your use on Chicago's famous public beaches on Lake
Michigan, just one mile from our building.

night. Three or more nights, $175 per night. Rate includes up to 2 guests.
China Doll II offers
expanded accommodations when extra living and sleeping space is required.
Perhaps you will be entertaining business clients, bringing your
extended family, or simply wish to "spread out" and enjoy all the space we have
to offer.
The already open and roomy China Doll II expands to include two additional rooms
for your comfort and enjoyment. An extra bed, seating for four or five, and an
additional fireplace are yours for a nominal additional fee.
Rates: China Doll II (Expanded Accommodation – Includes Two Extra Rooms) – One night
only, $295. Two nights, $255 per night. Three or more nights, $225 per night.
Rate includes up to 4 guests.
China Doll III (Garden Unit):
A plush sofa and chair welcome you to relax in front of the gas
fireplace. The living area is carefully arranged in a quiet corner away from
work areas, and tasteful plants help to create a warm, homelike atmosphere.
Here you can
 enjoy premium cable television, or just curling up before a warm fire.
Behind the sofa is an amazingly compact, fold-out conference table with four
chairs, so that you can hold a meeting or spread out your papers in view of the
fireplace. And for our guests who travel in groups or with family members, the sofa
folds out to become an extra bed.
Gourmet Kitchen: In the unlikely event you're not enticed by one of Chicago's hundreds of
tempting eateries, our kitchen offers everything you need to create your own
gastronomical masterpieces. A full range, oven, indoor grill, and an extensive
collection of cutlery and cookware greet the gourmet chef in a bright room with
ample counter space. Enjoy your meals in cushioned comfort at the galley-style dining
table overlooking the gourmet kitchen, or sip tea and spread out your morning
paper on the butcher-block breakfast bar.
Rates: China Doll III (Garden Unit) – One night only, $175. Two nights, $155 per night.
Three or more nights, $135 per night. Rate includes up to 2 guests.
For extra guests beyond the limits specified above, please add $20 per adult or
$10 per child (age 3 to 12) per night. Children under 3 stay free.
Rates do not include 11.9% local hotel tax. Neighborhood parking permits are
provided, and discounted off-street parking is available. Rates are effective
11/1/2003 and are subject to change.
Deposits. We require a valid Visa or MasterCard to guarantee your reservation. We will not
charge your card until you arrive or fail to adhere to the cancellation policy.
Lacking a credit card, we will accept a check for the deposit.
Cancellation
More than 7 days' notice: no charge.
2 to 7 days' notice: one night's charge.
Less than 2 days' notice: up to 2 days charged.
All charges are waived if the room is rebooked by another guest.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the bedrooms. We discourage, but do not
prohibit, smoking in the other areas. You are completely welcome to smoke
outdoors.
