By Car:
If you are driving from
the airport, take Highway 10 EAST to New Orleans. When you are near the
Superdome, exit at "Business District -- 90" (DO NOT go where it says "10 East
Slidell") You do not want to cross the Mississippi River Bridge.
Get off at St. Charles /
Carondelet Street Exit (the second exit after the SuperDome exit -- again, DO
NOT cross the Mississippi River Bridge.
Turn right at the bottom of the
ramp onto St. Charles Avenue (the route of the Streetcar) and go about 8 blocks,
past Jackson Avenue (main intersection) to Third Street.
Turn left across the streetcar
tracks, onto Third Street, and go one long block. Turn right onto PRYTANIA
STREET.
