Conveniently
tucked away in the Lower
Garden District,
just one block away from St. Charles Avenue and the streetcar
line.

Hey darlin', welcome to The 1415 Creole Gardens
Guesthouse Bed and Breakfast -
the latest project of Miss Karen's world famous - and haunted - 1891 Castle Inn
of New Orleans Guesthouse Bed and Breakfast.
The 1415 Creole Gardens Guesthouse Bed
and Breakfast, a New
Orleans B&B located one block off St. Charles Avenue, route of the famous
Streetcar which can rumble you to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street in
minutes and coveted route of the best Mardi Gras Parades. We are located walking
distance from Magazine Street, The D-Day Museum and very close to the Morial
Convention Center and the Central Business District, Louisiana Superdome, The
Aquarium of the Americas, Tulane University and Loyola University. Built in
1849, Renovated 2003.
The Creole Gardens
consists of two 1840's
era historic mansions and a two story
servants quarters, centered on a banana courtyard. We have just finished a
two-year historic renovation of the property. We are proud to have met the
latest hotel fire, safety and building codes while saving the regal charm of an
historic building.

Countess Willie Piazza's Hall of Splendors
Our Manse or Main mansion
houses our office, five guest rooms, including a huge
private honeymoon suite with private balcony overlooking the New Orleans
skyline, three huge suites with claw foot tubs, stunning broad heart pine
flooring and endless original historic details. Wake up and head down to a
continental breakfast in our dining room or take a plate outside to enjoy our
banana courtyard. If you're lucky perhaps you can convince Miss Karen or one of
her musician friends to tickle the ivories and sing old show tunes in the
sitting parlor. This Mansion was originally the home of Benjamin Palmer, a
famous minister in the 19th century.
Meaning no
disrespect to Mr. Palmer, we are especially proud of our Bordello Mansion,
located right next door to the Main Manse. The Bordello Mansion is Miss Karen's
homage to the wanton pleasures that were Storyville - Nawlins' legalized red
light district that flourished around the turn of the last century. The Bordello
Mansion boasts 7 rooms that were individually decorated with the ambiance of
Storyville and named after a famous madame of the period. Each room features
brand new deluxe queen sized canopy or four poster beds, (one room has king
size), hardwood floors, high ceilings, hand sewn bedding and drapes and
beaucoups eccentric flourishes everywhere. Come get a taste of some old-time,
turn-of-the-century decadence and debauchery!

The Cottages, Originally Built as the
Slave's Quarters
Our 13 "Dependency"
or servant's quarters rooms are completely renovated and
individually decorated by Miss Karen in creative themes. We offer romantic,
gothic, kid Crayon, 50's, lace, Europe in the 30's, Tuscany, Pacific Islands,
and many others. We promise you'll love 'em. This place is fun.
And since we don't want
our guests to be completely left in the Victorian era,
we have supplied each room in the entire complex with a private bath, state of
the art digital phone system, free high-speed fixed address cable-modem internet
connections, cable TV, and air conditioning and heat.
