Experience the Grand Victorian, designed and built in 1893 by famed New Orleans architect Thomas Sully. Lovingly brought back to its former glory and decorated with period furnishing, the Grand Victorian welcomes you to a majestic past within the comfort and convenience of a modern bed and breakfast establishment.

As you are greeted at the front door, you will be led into our parlor which overlooks magnificent St. Charles Ave. Our parlor is an inviting place to relax and watch the activity of New Orleans, as the streetcars and people go by.

Our continental breakfast is served either in our sun-filled dining room or outdoors on our porte-cochere balcony. After a busy day discovering New Orleans, relax in our Victorian parlor and enjoy the scenic view of St. Charles Avenue.

All of the comforts of home await you at The Grand Victorian. Guest amenities include private bath, individual temperature control, telephone, cable television, balcony and whirlpool tub. Business travelers have access to fax and copy machines as well as computer ports.

The Grand Victorian staff is eager to assist you in planning tours of the Garden District, historic cemeteries, swamps, and River Road Plantations. We are located less than fifteen minutes from the Superdome, the New Orleans Convention Center, New Orleans Museum of Art, the world famous French Quarter, Jackson Square, and Audubon Park (zoo). Step out our front door and onto the Avenue. The St. Charles Streetcar Line will transport you to the Arts District and the Riverbend areas. You can also visit Jazz music clubs and indulge in famous New Orleans cuisine. Soak up the past and celebrate the present at The Grand Victorian, where award-winning restaurants, Mardi Gras parades and the St. Charles Ave. Streetcar wait for you.

Cancellations:
Guests must pre-pay one night to guarantee their reservations, with the balance due upon check-in. Charges are fully refundable if the reservation is canceled 10 days prior to stay. No refunds for late arrivals or early departures.

Travel from the West: Take 1-10 East to EXIT 234 A (Business 90 Westbank)/Take Business 90 to St. Charles Ave. - Carondelet St. Exit / Pass through first light and take a right at second light (which is St. Charles Ave.) / Drive up to the fifth traffic light, which is Washington Ave. / The Grand Victorian is on the corner of St. Charles and Washington on the right.
