From the moment you enter the spectacular hall of this raised Greek-revival Mansion, and are greeted by larger-than-life sculptures of Eros and Aphrodite, the Greek deities of love, you realize fantasies can come true.

Magnolia Mansion is the perfect New Orleans B & B for those seeking a peaceful Romantic Getaway to celebrate an anniversary, engagement, honeymoon, elopement, birthday, or a quite weekend away from the children.

Because we cater to Romantic Retreats, no children are allowed and all guest at the Bed and Breakfast must be 21 years or older.

Room Descriptions & Amenities:

All rooms are romantically themed in elaborate decor, gorgeous window dressings with Austrian Sheers and black-out curtains. All are provided with plush bed coverings and linens, private baths, cable TV, VCRs, and alarm-clock radios.

For your convenience, each newly renovated bathroom is equipped with its own hairdryer, ironing board & iron
bathrobes, night-light, and a magnified makeup mirror.

We also offer free local telephone calls and high-speed internet access.
A complimentary video lending library is available 24 hours.

Gone With the Wind:
Open the 12 ' cedar door and enter into a room reminiscent of Tara, three 12 foot windows covered with the famous Green Velvet Drapes with Gold Fringe greet you. A beautiful and ornately carved mahogany 4 poster king sized bed will insure you will have a comfortable stay while at the Mansion.

Napoleon’s Rendezvous:
The coziest of the main floor accommodations is filled with traditional Gold and Blue French decor. The Queen-sized wrought- iron canopy bed is beautifully draped with sheer fabrics that match the drapes and bed linens.

Vampire’s Lair:
New Orleans decor at it's best! With walls the color of a rich Merlot wine , or maybe blood red , never the less this room is "Drop Dead Gorgeous" and screams rich decadence.

Southern Comfort:
Traditional country luxury fills this room. The swan carved queen sized mahogany sleigh bed and end tables are complimented by two velvet Victorian chairs and antique armoire.

Bordello Moulin Rouge:
Dripping with over the top French decadent decor in red and gold, furnished with a king-sized Marie Antoinette bed and mirrored vanity, you could loose your head in this bed. A deluxe bathroom, complete with a Jacuzzi for two and wall mounted shower, will break down the inhibitions of all those that enter.

Bordello Storyville Jazz:
Furnished with a queen-sized Rocco hand Carved mahogany bed and ornate vanity and mirror. A charming but naughty bathroom, complete with a bath tub and wall mounted shower.

Lafitte’s Hideaway:
"It's a pirate's life for me"...A queen size gothic wrought -iron bed, leather night stands and yes, even a treasure chest furnish this room. If you need to hide out for a while, this cozy room will keep you comfortably wrapped in all the colors of the ocean.

Mardi Gras Crew:
The more the merrier! A Victorian furnished room filled with the colors of Mardi Gras. A beautiful mahogany hand carved Victorian queen size bed, as well as two twin size beds, makes this room perfect for a group of friends or family traveling together.

Cinderella’s Boudoir:
Step into a Fairytale and feel what it's like to sleep like a princess in this ultimate feminine fantasy Boudoir. The canopy bed and windows are draped with beautiful and colorful fabrics taken right from the movie.

You are getting married to the love of your life and you want this joyous occasion to be just as you’ve always imagined.

Whatever you desire, a traditional southern wedding or a unique theme wedding, your wish is our command. Magnolia Mansion is the perfect wedding and reception location.

From the moment you enter the grand hall and are greeted by larger than life statues of Aphrodite and Eros, the Greek deities of love, you’ll realize that fantasies can come true.

For receptions of up to 350, the mansion and verandah provide the perfect ambiance for celebrating. A complimentary honeymoon suite is provided the night of the wedding and/or reception in the mansion or courtyard. We can also provide accommodations of up to eight additional rooms for your friends and family.

Policies:

STANDARD MINIMUM STAY required (2 nights) on the weekends/Friday & Saturday

ROOM RESERVATION DEPOSIT:
The amount required for a standard reservation is Room plus tax for the first night stay at the time of booking; the Full Balance is charged to the credit card seven (7) days before arrival. Special events require a ninety (90) day 100% full pre-payment and are charged to the credit card

ROOM RESERVATION CANCELLATION:
Must be given in writing. A $25 cancellation processing fee applies to all cancellations, including early departure. If cancelled within 7-days of a standard reservation date, or within 60-days of a special event reservation date (events, holidays and conventions), the charges are non-refundable, and will result in 100% of stay.

PAYMENT METHOD:
We accept VISA, Master Card, American Express Discover and Cashiers Checks. NO CASH, Debit Cards, Travelers Checks or Personal/Business Checks.

AGE RESTRICTIONS: Guest Must be 21 years or older. A Government issued ID and credit card are required to check-in.

IN-HOUSE RESTRICTIONS: Magnolia Mansion is a smoke-free environment.

PARKING: Complimentary parking provided based on availability. NO RV'S, U-hauls, moving vans, trailers or trucks allowed.
