This B&B is centrally located and considered to be "The Gateway To The
Garden District", Just one block from the St. Charles Streetcar, and
within minutes of the French Quarter, five star restaurants such as
Commander's Palace and Emeril's, the Convention Center, Cemeteries, the
Mississippi River paddlewheels, major attractions, the Superdome and
shopping.
Our resident ghost (excuse us, host) will greet you in the
dining-room each morning with a complimentary continental breakfast of
coffee, juice, fresh fruit, bagels, cereal, and pastries. On occasion,
when spirits are lively, a hot breakfast may surprise you.
Indulge yourself each evening (or morning) by lounging in two
magnificent parlors, perfect for weddings and gala events. Sit or mingle
beneath magnificent crystal chandeliers, surrounded by luxurious
antique furniture, as you sip Mint Juleps, Southern Comfort, or other

Magnolia Mansion is historically known as the Harris Maginnis Mansion, and once operated as the headquarters of the American Red Cross during World War
II (1939 -1954). It now operates as one of New Orleans finest upscale Bed &
Breakfast Guest homes. With eleven phenomenal Corinthian columns, this
property is one of New Orleans most photographed and treasured Historic Garden
District Antebellum Homes (built in 1857-58).
Because of its value to the city,
Magnolia Mansion is a strict non-smoking Bed & Breakfast, with out elevators or
handicapped accessibility Massive live-oaks frame the Mansion's beautifully
landscaped grounds. Magnolia trees and flowers perfume the air surrounding an
impressive and immense courtyard.

or checks with the exception of cashiers checks. Check-In is from 3pm-7pm CST.
