Victorian Inn on the historic Village Green.
The Village of Falmouth, incorporated in 1686,
is one of Cape Cod's historical gems. Every season, thousands of visitors flock
to the area to enjoy all that Falmouth has to offer. The Village Green Inn is a
federal style home originally built in 1804 and extensively renovated as a
Victorian in 1894. It is tastefully decorated, with antiques and reproductions,
creating a restful and comfortable atmosphere.
Our spacious guest rooms are decorated in soft colors and create an inviting and
restful atmosphere. All offer full private baths and two have working
fireplaces. We also offer an intimate and romantic suite, the perfect
choice for your honeymoon or special respite from a busy lifestyle. All guest rooms also have cable TV, private telephones, hair dryers,
and are air conditioned. Guests are provided with a comfortable, clean robe.
Bicycles, sand chairs and beach towels are available on a first-come,
first-served basis.
Many thoughtful amenities make you feel
pampered and well cared for. Today the Inn is listed on the National Register of
Historic Places. You are welcome to make yourself comfortable in the lovely formal parlor and
relax with an interesting and varied choice of books, magazines or games in
front of the Victorian fireplace.
Enjoy breakfast in the morning sun or sip complimentary sherry or lemonade on
our large open porches. Furnished in white wicker and hanging red geranium pots,
they overlook the flower gardens and well groomed lawns that surround the Inn
and carriage house.
Our full breakfast includes such specialties as heavenly bananas, cape cod
cranberry compote or a fresh tangy ambrosia. Delicious entrees such as
Apple-Cinnamon French Toast or
Crème Caramel French Toast complement a
selection of home made favorites such as blueberry almond bread or raspberry
cream coffee cake. Linger with us over freshly brewed coffee while we help you
plan your Cape and Islands adventures.
Smoking Policy:
For the comfort and safety of all of our other guests, we are a non-smoking
Inn.
Cancellation Policy:
Reservations cancelled 15 days or more in advance of arrival date are
refundable in full, less a processing charge of $30 per room. No refunds will
be given on short notice — 15 days or less before arrival date. Reservations made 4 months or more in advance, multiple room reservations,
special event and holiday reservations require a 30 day cancellation notice.
