Thayer's Historic Bed n' Breakfast was built in 1895, by Gus and Caroline Thayer and the SooLine Railroad. Thayer's became Sharon Gammell's home in 1993. This is a beautiful work in progress, a number of changes have transpired over the years and today has 11 guest rooms each with a private baths. There are whirlpools, fireplaces, a spa pool hot tub and a sauna for your enjoyment.

Owner, Sharon Gammell a noted psychic, wedding officiant and chef invites you to share her home 365 days a year and welcomes you to Thayer's Historic Bed n' Breakfast, where we cater to the newly engaged, early married couples, smaller weddings & commitment ceremonies.

Thayer's Cocktail lounge is an intimate, relaxing, and friendly place. It reminds one of the small and cozy pubs in Europe boasting a fine selection of liquors.

Our fully stocked cocktail lounge is complete with 40 plus Scotches (blended and single malt) at least 15 bourbon and whisky choices, micro brewery beers, parlor games, a premium rail, tasty martinis and manhattans, cribbage, 50, euchre, comfortable wines and champagnes, scrabble, chess and checkers, 12 Cognacs including Louis XIII and Hennessy XO, ports, Armagnac, Metaxa, and some fine liqueurs, it proves to be a very well stocked, delightful respite from the usual fare.

Everything ordered from/on our web site/s is pre-paid, non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Once you place your reservation and we accept it, you own it. NO refunds will be given. All holiday, specials and package reservations are pre-paid, non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

For reservations placed directly with us by phone or in person:
Thayer's Cancellation Policy is a 1 week advance notice. Should you be unable to keep your reservation, you must notify us of your cancellation at least one week in advance.  Notice: A less than 1 full week's notice will be charged one full night's rate for each room reserved. Guest Rooms, Packages, and Specials are subject to a 6.5% MN sales tax; are subject to availability and prices may change without advance notice.
