The Renaissance Room:- A truly marvelous room decorated in coppers and gold. A gorgeous hand carved  Mahogany four poster Queen sized bed, decorative electric fireplace, 2 comfortable chairs, stained glass lamps, plush bishop-sleeved curtains, all make this room exceptional.  In the bath is an old-fashioned claw-footed soaking tub with shower and a pull chain commode.
 

STANDARD RATE:  $185 per night includes: 
Thayer's exceptional four course breakfast plus Thayer's "turndown" service is provided, (This bed has sooo many pillows!) and in each of our rooms is a hair dryer, digital radio alarm clock, shampoo & conditioner, facial soap, bath gel, toothbrush, hand lotion, shower cap and sewing kit. An iron and ironing board are available upon request.

 

Romance in Savannah Room:- This guest room is another perfect space at Thayer's  for a celebration! Set the tone for luxury and romance with one of our larger rooms. Enjoy the soft colors of dusty rose and creamy white on white, a beautiful remote controlled decorative fireplace, hand carved oak queen size bedroom set, a 5ft by 6ft double whirlpool is yours when you select this lovely space. This is a fine room for an extended stay. 

STANDARD RATE:  $245 per night includes: Thayer's exceptional four course breakfast plus Thayer's "turndown" service is provided, (This bed has sooo many pillows!) and in each of our rooms is a hair dryer, digital radio- with CD player-alarm clock, shampoo & conditioner, facial soap, bath gel, toothbrush, hand lotion, shower cap and sewing kit. Weddings, Wishes & Dreams Room:- The perfect place to spend your wedding night or anniversary! A beautiful cherry wood four poster Queen size bed is accented with lovely soft  florals,  rich lace, and the warm glow of a remote controlled decorative fireplace. Over the sink is a beautiful crystal chandelier and in the bath, a pull chain commode & claw-footed soaking tub with shower await your pleasure.

The Purple's Mist Room:- Experience French Provincial style, luxury and opulence in this awesome room. Twin beds  connected with one gorgeous headboard built, from burled birds eye maple, around 1910 give you room to stretch. Take a relaxing bubble bath in the extra deep claw footed soaking tub, with shower, and enjoy the magic. 

Standard Guest room rate: $175 per night  and includes: Thayer's "turndown" service,  hair dryer, digital radio alarm clock, shampoo & conditioner, facial soap, bath gel, toothbrush, hand lotion, shower cap and sewing kit plus, Thayer's exceptional Four Course breakfast served in the dining room. An iron and ironing board are available upon request.

Gus' Room:- Combine a gorgeous full sized hand-carved walnut Eastlake bedroom set with royal, rich, bold bedding and window treatments and you have the makings for a delightfully romantic stay! Gus enjoys the fanciful and exotic. This guest room's theme seems to transport you into the 1890's when Britain was all agaw over anything from India and further east. Gus' bath has a single seascape whirlpool with shower and a pull chain commode and... you are absolutely right, indoor plumbing at that time was not an option...thank goodness it is today!

Miss Kitty's Room:- Lovely Dark rich navy blues are complimented by softer blues and vanilla creams in a fleur de lys patterned wall paper and help to add to the beauty of this inviting getaway. Miss Kitty has taste that bends to the French Quarter around 1910 and her Queen sized bed is over done and gorgeous! The bathroom has a pull chain commode and single seascape whirlpool bathing tub with shower.  Yes, the lamps are genuine Capo di Monte porcelain as is the mirror over the basin.

Joan's Retreat Room:- Do you have a liking for roses, peaceful gardens and medieval history?  This guest room will get your attention. The stunning antique art over the fireplace mantle is Jeanne d'arc.  "Joan's Retreat" is a hideaway that has a writer's desk, beautiful remote controlled decorative fireplace and a queen sized hand carved Sugar Maple bedroom set. Most of the framed art in this room is done in silver point, an art form popular in the 1400's. The private bath has a pull chain commode and a claw footed tub with shower.

Miss Sadie's Garden Room:- Miss Sadie's Garden is a truly marvelous space, refreshing and comfortable. Its Eastern exposure, authentic garden paintings from the 1860s', period wallpapers and stained glass offer a cozy and unique setting. You will be pleased with the Burled Walnut queen size bed with its pillow topped mattress. The delicate lace curtains in this room are held by beautiful and unique Victorian swing arms.  In the bathroom are a pull chain commode and a heart shaped double whirlpool with shower.

Royal Haven Room:- A pleasure to the eye as well as the senses with rich egg plant & gold colors complimented by a beautiful queen size Birdseye maple bed built and carved by a local artist around 1900. You will feel royal as you snuggle up in front of the remote controlled decorative fireplace or relax in an original Morris chair. The bath has a claw footed soaking tub with shower and a pull chain commode.

Miss Lilly's Room:- The traditional wallpaper used in this room is adorned with beautiful florals and textures. Floral Jacquard bedding and complimentary  floral draperies, a unique original Amana Colony dresser and mirror, crystal dresser side lamps and a pillow topped queen sized bed complete this lovely and alluring setting. Miss Lilly’s bath has a pull chain commode and a claw-footed tub with shower. Lilly's room is located just across the hall from the sauna.

Miss Amy's Room:- Amy's room is our idea of  turn of the century around 1905, French country. In Miss Amy's room is a fine carved oak double bed, early Stickley dresser, lovely lamps and cheery surroundings. The bath has a claw footed tub and shower plus a pull chain commode.  If you are a "sun in the morning" person, this is the place for you.
