Our inn is 1 hour from NYC by car, 48
minutes by train. Within 5 to 15 minutes of our place are 6 of the
historic houses of the lower Hudson Valley, WestPoint and the new Dias:
Beacon Museum of contemporary art.
We are 20 minutes from Tarrytown or Cold Spring. Lots of hiking, great
restaurants, wineries and in the fall,
apple picking.
Kykuit, Lyndhurst, Van Cortlandt Manor, Phillipsburg Manor,
Caramoor and Boscobel nearby.
All cooking is done in house. Cydney
Klein
is our food and
beverage manager and will quote the price for your food and beverage.
 We
do not have a liquor license so all wines and spirits must be provided
by the host. Cydney attended the Culinary Institute of America and has
had eight years experience in the food industry. Your menu will be
designed according to your tastes and can include hors d’oeuvres and
desserts or a full meal. She has had extensive experience in cooking for
special diets including vegetarian and vegan cuisine. Whether you desire
international gourmet fare or meat, potatoes and apple pie, Cydney is up
to the task. |

The Yellow Room is a small room with a double bed and an
attached bath /shower. The Rose Room
is a large room with a queen size bed. It has a private hall bath with
shower and slipper tub. The Turret Room
A large light, airy room with queen bed and a queen size sofa bed in a
turret of five windows with a winter view of the Hudson. Private hall
bath with shower.
The Garden Room
is a spacious room with queen and day beds, and fireplace, overlooking
the front gardens. Private attached bath; The
Victorian Suite is a light, airy suite, with a carved cherry
fire place and queen size bed in the bedroom, and a sitting room with day
bed. Private attached bath; The Library Suite
Queen bedded room with fireplace sitting room. Private attached bath
(first floor); The Master Suite
Large luxurious suite with queen bed, green marble fireplace, silk
oriental rugs, river view window. Private bath with 2 person Jacuzzi and
large stained glass window backlit at night. Full entertainment center.
The Bridal
Chamber
Our wonderful third floor suite for special occasions with: 5
Skylights, King-sized bed, Private bath with Jacuzzi, Fireplace,
Entertainment Center, and an In-Room Breakfast.
Cancellation Policy: 7 days notice required for
normal cancellation. One night penalty if notice is less than 7 days. No shows
pay for entire reservation. Reservations for 3 or more rooms or those made 3
months or more in advance require a non-refundable deposit of 1/3 the
reservation or one night's stay in each room reserved. the balance is subject to
our regular 7 day policy.
Directions: From Rte 9: get off at
Rte 129. Go east to first traffic light (Riverside Ave.) Make left on Riverside
for one block. Turn right on Grand. Turn Left on Hamilton and proceed to end.
You will be right in front of the inn; a large white house with white picket
fence and lit up wreath on second floor. Please proceed down driveway to
the left of the inn and park between the inn and the barn. Everyone comes
up the porch steps to our kitchen door, cause that's where chocolate chip
cookies await you.
