Romance awaits you
at Cromwell Manor Inn. The main building, The Manor House, contains nine
elegant guest rooms in a brick mansion built in 1820. The original home
on the property, The Chimneys Cottage, dates back to 1764 and offers
charming Colonial ambiance in fou r
guest rooms.
Step back in time
and surround yourself with history and elegance. Nestle down in front of
a two-century-old fireplace in winter, or, in the warmth of summer,
enjoy a stroll through the formal gardens, play croquet or simply relax
and enjoy the breathtaking view from one of our garden benches.
Your hosts,
Jack and Cynthia Trowell, are friendly and knowledgeable. Let
us help with your planning, whether your interests are historic homes,
art, fine dining, or world-class shopping. Every morning, you will be
treated to a gourmet breakfast served at your private table (Cynthia has
trained at the Culinary Institute of America!)

Need to keep in
touch? High-speed wireless Internet service is available free
of charge throughout the Manor House. All rooms in both buildings are
air-conditioned in season. There are hair dryers and robes in each
room, so you don't have to pack them! Irons and ironing boards are
available.
Cromwell Manor Inn
is ideal for small weddings, executive retreats, and family reunions. We
can accommodate outdoor gatherings from early April until mid-December
for parties from 20 to 150 people.
The Manor House
has nine
guest rooms, each beautifully decorated with period antiques and fine
furnishings. Many rooms have working wood burning fireplaces. All have
private baths.
The Chimneys Cottage, built in 1764,
contains four comfortably-furnished guest rooms with private baths.
Frequently, the Cottage is rented in its entirety for parties and family
gatherings.
