The North Fork's Premier Bed &
Breakfast and Spa

At Quintessentials,
we cater to rejuvenation of your mind, body, and spirit at our exquisitely
renovated, historic, 1840's Victorian set in almost an acre of mature,
landscaped grounds featuring a full-service, day spa staffed by licensed,
experienced professionals , whirlpool baths, private decks and a Japanese
meditation garden.
Our ideal location in East Marion,
between the historical villages of Greenport and Orient, fulfills your desire
for fresh country air, unspoiled beaches, sleepy fishing villages, farmlands,
vineyards, and challenging sports and activities. Delicious gourmet food,
comfortable, antique furnished rooms with posturpedic beds, on-premises spa
services, good reading lights and private, ensuite bathrooms, some with
whirlpool tubs, enhance your quintessential adventure. Best of all, you'll
receive warm personal attention and privacy when you want it.
Quintessentials, built by Captain Leek, a
wealthy sea captain, is a gloriously restored, spacious, 15-room,
much-photographed, house complete with charming Widow's Walk. Listed in the Long
Island Society for the Preservation of Antiquities (LISPA), Quintessentials is
furnished with an eclectic collection of fine antiques and yard sale finds.
Our guests return repeatedly to enjoy the
room amenities like claw-foot bath tub, whirlpool tub, fireplace in the living
room, plush towels, robes and slippers, beautiful linens, and down comforter,
hairdryer, CD player, radio, alarm clock, cable TV/VCR, computer jack,
high-speed internet access, fresh flowers, mineral water and chocolates on their
pillows.
We are the only Bed & Breakfast on the
North Fork of Long Island having individual private decks, in-room fireplaces
and whirlpool baths in the guest rooms. We have been in business for 10 years,
and have had a full-service spa on the premises for the past 8 years, featuring
water and steam treatments, as well as reflexology and Reiki.
After an active day of vineyards tours,
visits to farm stands, the beaches, sports, the casinos at Foxwoods and the
Mohegan, designer outlet shopping and sightseeing or a day spent at
Quintessentials Spa indulging in a relaxing massage, aromatherapy steam bath, or
European skin care treatment, guests join us for a Quintessentials Afternoon
Tea. Before dinner at one of the fine North Fork restaurants, time is spent
lazing on the wrap around porch or strolling in the garden to watch the sunset,
always stopping to sit in our Japanese Fung Shui garden to restore balance and
harmony within.

If you need to cancel for any reason
21days outside of making your reservation we will happily return your payment
minus a $25 cancellation fee per room. For weddings and other groups,
cancellations prior to 30 days will receive a full refund of deposit, minus a
$25 cancellation fee per room. Because of our small size, cancellations affect
us significantly. A last minute cancellation gives us little chance of filling
your room. For this reason, we uphold a strict cancellation policy. After 21
days, you are responsible for the full amount of the reservation and no refund
is possible, regardless of the reason for non-arrival or early departure.
However, if we succeed in re-renting your room (s) we will issue a gift

one-night's rate per room. Spa Services booked must be cancelled 7 days in
