At our Berkshires bed and breakfast,
we have nine individually styled bed and breakfast rooms all with their
own private baths and air conditioning. While the five Country House
guest rooms retain the New York - Massachusetts period atmosphere, the
four Carriage Barn guest rooms are Hudson Valley country at its best.
We’ll first visit the five Country House Berkshires bed and breakfast
guest rooms each with a ceramic tiled bath.

The large Purdy Room is on the first floor and opens onto
the veranda. In keeping with the period atmosphere of the Country House,
an antique iron headboard, which adapts to twins or a king size bed, and
a unique Bombay chest sit splendidly in this room.

In one of the guest favorites, the grand Clark Room
(not shown) on the
second floor you’ll find two oversized wing chairs that belonged to the
innkeeper’s grandparents. A queen size bed sits amid fabrics of floral
prints, plaids and damasks that are a perfect blend.

Appointed with a queen-size cherry four poster bed, the
Pierson Room (not shown) is just across the hall from the Clark Room. A reminder
of an early farmhouse expansion is the step up to the black and white
ceramic tiled bathroom. Pleasing muted geometric plaids and striped
fabrics are replicated on the bed and window coverings.

The Jenny Lind double bed in the small cozy Fisher Room
has been in this house several generations. Pleasing black and gold star
patterns appear in the fabrics and hooked rug. And you’ll be delighted
with the convenience of a wall of shaker pegs.

The periwinkle blue all around you in Gunda’s Room will lift your
spirits. The periwinkle and white striped fabrics appear everywhere in
this room - on the queen size bed, as roman shades on the windows, and
in the custom made shower curtain. The corner built in desk beckons you
to write a postcard home.
