Oak Manor.
Come relax, nurture your senses, and enjoy all we have to offer!

Come nurture your senses
in our comfortably elegant home. Your hosts, Karen & Andy, will make you
feel welcome, relaxed, and pampered. At Corner Oak Manor, you'll find sumptuous
gourmet breakfasts, a refreshing jacuzzi, and gracious amenities in a relaxed
ambiance.
This 1920 English Tudor home is located in a
quiet neighborhood just 1/2 mile from Historic Biltmore House & Gardens and just
2 miles from downtown Asheville. Our home has been lovingly renovated and
decorated with oak antiques, art, and hand-crafted items such as pottery,
baskets and weavings.
Karen has a culinary degree and delights in
making breakfast a special experience. Our guests have appreciated her love of
cooking reflected in such delectable entrees as Four-Cheese & Herb Quiche,
Pumpkin Waffles with Cider Syrup, Greek Eggs in Phyllo Cups, or Buttermilk
French Toast with Warm Berry Compote. In addition to a different entree daily,
breakfast will include fresh-squeezed juices, seasonal fruits, homemade breads &
muffins, and of course, coffee that is ground fresh for each pot.
Corner Oak Manor has 3 guest rooms and 1
vacation rental cottage. All of our rooms have queen-size beds, private baths, & air
conditioners. The cottage also has a kitchen area, gas-log fireplace and cable
TV. Among our gracious amenities you will find flowers & fine chocolates, an
outdoor deck with a 15 jet jacuzzi, luxurious bath gels & soaps in each room,
and a baby grand piano & fireplace in the living room.
Cancellation Policy: 7 days notice required.
How to Find Us:
From Highway 40 - Exit 50 if going East, 50B if going west on 40. Go North on
Hendersonville Road (this means a left from Exit 50 and a right from Exit 50B).
Follow signs to the Biltmore Estate, this means you’ll get in left lane and at
the 2nd light you will fork to the left. Go past the Biltmore Estate and
over a bridge (This is McDowell street). Take the 2nd right after you
cross the bridge, this is Grindstaff. There is a bus stop and a sign that says
“Asheville Day Nursery” on that corner. We are the last house on the left
before the stop sign at Saint Dunstans Road. We have a sign. Enter the
house through the door at the patio, by the flag.
