Cardinal Suite
is a large bedroom and bath with adjoining sitting room with television and
internet access. The bedroom has a queen sized bed covered with a cream on cream
Goodwin Guild woven coverlet.
The furnishings
are made of American Black Walnut with carvings that match the toile, fruit and
bird wallpaper. The hardwood floors are accented with Karastan rugs. The most
exciting view of the Fuquay Mineral Spring lends to the spacious room and its
relaxed environment. Adding to the room's decor is an original painting of
cardinals by wildlife artist and naturalist - Malcolm Fleming, a charter member
of Ducks Unlimited.
The English bathroom
has a glassed shower and built-in vanity
accented with rope tile and

The Painted Bunting Room
The Painted Bunting
Room is a clean white and country green room with mahogany twin beds. The room
is accented with green, the green colors of the female painted bunting bird.
An original painting
of a pair of painted buntings from Bald
Head Island by Malcolm Fleming which accents the room and the other antique,
mahogany furniture. The adjoining bath, papered with forget-me-nots, has a glass
shower. The built-in vanity offers a marble sink and golden mirror for personal
grooming. A mahogany leather chair from the nation's capitol provides a place to
write correspondence. The Painted Bunting Room offers a quaint setting
for one or two
guests.

The Goldfinch Room
is a charming, restful room with an antique double bed, made of carved walnut. A
cream crocheted coverlet adds to the fashionable times. An antique settee can be
used for relaxed reading.
The spacious
bathroom has a large glass shower. The bathroom is enhanced with pastel yellow
wall paper and brown bows. The bow accent can be found within the two rooms. Two
large windows face the historical Ben Wiley Hotel. These windows are shaded with
white plantation shutters and are accented with imported tassels. The oriental
carpet adds to the warmth of the pleasing, pale gold-yellow room. Other antique
furnishings combine to offer a useful and nostalgic room.

The Savannah Sparrow Room is a large bedroom with a queen size, rice plantation, tester bed. An
antique mahogany chest with drop desk offers spacious work and storage area.
The oak floors are fashioned with a powder blue and taupe oriental rug. The
Savannah Sparrow Room has four large windows with plantation shutters. These
windows have the views of the garden, gazebo and the mineral spring. The
adjoining bathroom has an extremely large bath with a shower/tub.
The pedestal sink and pastel
peach and bronze tiles reflect the beginning of the art deco period in American
