To give you a brief history and description
of the house, it was built in 1909 for Marjorie Ranck who became Mrs. Musselman
of Musselman’s applesauce fame. The house is filled with hand carved oak molding
and oak flooring. The staircase leading to the guest rooms is astonishing with
its golden oak shine and detailed finish. The common room is filled with
breakfast tables and seating areas for the guests to enjoy while they find
refuge here at our guesthouse. Harvest
Moon consists of four guest rooms all tastefully appointed with
antiques or antique reproductions. Beds in winter are outfitted with cozy down
comforters and plush pillows. Each room has its own cable television and comes
with a continental breakfast buffet (including one hot entree) and afternoon
tea. Tea is served between 4PM and 6PM.

Our first room is the Macintosh room. This room has its own private
entrance in the back of the house and is also handicapped accessible. It boasts
a queen size bed with separate sitting area for reading or what have you. The
bathroom has the original tiling and a wonderfully shaped bathtub for room and
convenience.

 The Cortland
room, our second, has a beautiful slatted wood queen sleigh bed with
a huge canopy top. This room is at the top of the steps and can be shared with
another room for larger parties. The private bathroom, across the hall from this
room, has plenty of space for all your needs.

Gala is our third room, which is a two level
suite. The bedroom with its quee n
sized bed being on the first level shows distant views of the countryside. One
can see for miles as they look out the window. This room also has a deck for
watching the town’s activities during the warmer months. Go upstairs and find
yourself in a quiet sitting room. The oversized bathroom with its exposed brick
and wooden beams is equipped with a jet tub and shower. You will certainly find
a place to relax in this room.
 Granny
Smith is the fourth room which delivers a commanding performance as a
deluxe suite. This room offers a king sized pillow-topped bed with views of the
sweeping countryside. The matching antique chair and settee bring comfort to
this room. Also a two level suite, this room offers a full-fledged living area
for you to enjoy. The bathroom with its jet tub, exposed brick and wooden beams
is surely a comfort room all in its own.
