Tucked along the Susquehanna River in the western portion
of Lancaster County lies the small picturesque town of Marietta. Nestled
within this historic setting is The Noble House Bed and Breakfast.
Innkeepers Elissa and Paul Noble have created a B&B with warmth, exquisite
decor, and intimacy.Twelve-foot high ceilings
and stenciled original pine flooring are the first architectural features
one notices upon entering this totally restored 1810 brick Federal-style
home. Fresh flowers, original art work, and attention to details set this
Bed and Breakfast apart.
Guests are encouraged to make the
Noble House their home away from home. The living room is elegantly
decorated with an array of antiques which showcase Elissa's handiwork and
creativity. An antique linen closet is used to display her vast tea cup
collection. Dolls, china, and crystal are also on display for everyone's
enjoyment.
Peace, tranquility and a sense of wonder fill the walled gardens where
guests are invited to relax, refresh, and rejuvenate their spirits. A lush
green tapestry of textures and shapes beckons one to sit and linger. Softly
splashing water from the two fish ponds gurgle in complete harmony and the
gentle breezes stir the wind chimes into song.
Hidden treasures abound...fine dining...casual
dining...antique shops...a music box museum and even an ice cream shop.
A full breakfast is served in the candlelit dining room. Elissa offers two
breakfasts: a savory light meal for "heart healthy" guests and one that is
sinfully scrumptious.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made within 7 days of
check-in. All cancellations incur a $25.00 processing fee. Cancellations
made less than 7 days prior to scheduled check-in require a payment of the
1st night's rate unless room is re-booked.
