Colvin Farm Bed and Breakfast has been given the honor of being on the
National Register of Historical Places as The Colvin-Fant -Durham Farm Complex.
The house was erected ca. 1835 by Nicolas Colvin, Jr., a prosperous Chester
County farmer. The farm remained with the direct descendants of Nicolas Colvin
until 1990. In 1983 the house was used in the filming of the miniseries
"Chiefs". The stenciled brick chimneys are a reminder of that today.
