The Iron Mountain Inn B&B and Creekside Chalet are nestled next to the Cherokee National Forest on 140 acres of private property. The Inn sits atop the mountain while the Chalet is snuggled between the creek and the mountains.

Each room at the Inn is decorated to maximize the comfort of our guests.  Cozy robes, mountain views, whirlpool tubs with candles and soft music, hair dryers, and coffee and muffins upstairs each morning to enjoy watching the sun rise from your private balcony.

The Equestrian Room has a king bed from which you can "start a flame" just by pressing the remote control for the Franklin stove. An in-room massage followed or preceeded by a steam shower or a soak in your whirlpool bath is the perfect ending to a perfect day in the mountains summer or winter.

The Family Memories Room has a private balcony overlooking the garden and mountains to the east.  It also has a steam shower, king bed and whirlpool bath. Log walls on two sides, a soaring ceiling and plenty of reading materials make this a room you don't want to leave.

The Green Room with its view of the mountains from the king sized brass bed made up with 650 tc Egyptian cotton sheets, the whirlpool tiled bath and a rubber ducky to float in your bubble bath is a popular choice of guests.

The bottomless cookie jar tempts you as you pass through the Great Room on your way to "morning food" - it's more than breakfast. Dinner is served with advance notice by candlelight, under the stars or beside the wood burning fireplace depending on the season.

Nearby: Watauga Lake for fishing, boating, sailing, swimming; Virginia Creeper Trail for biking, hiking: Barter Theater the state theater of Virginia; helicopter rides;  Blue Ridge Parkway, Boone, NC.

Cancellation Policy: 7 days except for special events or holidays.  Then it's 30 days.
