Welcome to Crystal River Inn,
a romantic 1883 Victorian inn and garden complex.

Charming Crystal River Inn comprises twelve
rooms in 4 buildings, surrounded by a garden resplendent with roses, topiaries,
fountains, and beautiful old pecan trees. The designer rooms have graced home
and garden magazines, as well as numerous publications such as Country Inns,
Southern Living, and USA Today. Features include fireplaces, canopied beds, claw
footed tubs, televisions, phones, sitting rooms, and horse drawn carriage rides.
Full gourmet breakfasts are headliner events--Eggs Benedict, Bananas Foster
crepes, and raspberry French toast. The same innovative and delicious cuisine is
featured during our famous theme weekends: romance getaways, incredible
weddings, ladies' shopping adventures, river trips, gourmet cooking lessons with
fabulous 7-course dinners, and especially our original murder mysteries. Come
along as we dish up some delicious Hill Country flavor.
Beautiful San Marcos is one of the crown jewels of the Hill
Country. Only 2 1/2 hours from Houston, this bustling little riverside
town is located at the headwaters of the crystal-clear San Marcos River,
surrounded by scenery that is among the best in Texas. San Marcos is
home to nature theme parks, world-class shopping at two enormous
designer factory outlets, whitewater sports, Texas State University,
picturesque historic districts, merry festivals, plus great antiquing,
wineries, theater, and food. And of course, it is home to the Dillon
family's Crystal River Inn, one of the oldest and most famous bed and
breakfast / country inns in the state.
It's been
said that the Hill Country has a special spirit all its own. That
once you've been there you can't wait to go back. That it is almost magic. For
twenty years, the Dillons and Crystal River Inn have been working hard to
capture that spirit. Some of the peace, the beauty, the history, and the
happiness of this unique chunk of Texas have been bottled up right here, waiting
to be sampled. Guests can indulge in nonstop activity, or do absolutely nothing.
Sleep until noon and have breakfast in bed.
Rock the afternoon away in the veranda. Join new friends for a sumptuous brunch.
Hold business meetings and seminars in the sunlit library, or celebrate morning
in the rose garden over fresh-ground coffee and homemade muffins. The choice is
yours.......
