Come and experience the tranquility of our 18th century home. This historic inn has spectacular views and is located on over 3 quiet, off-highway acres 10 miles north of Stowe.

The inn is surrounded by gardens in the summer, and you may enjoy strolling through the woods behind the inn.  We have a year-round hot tub on the three-level deck out back for all guests to use.

All of the rooms have private baths and views of the Green Mountains, the forest and gardens, or both.  The suites have fireplaces, two-person whirlpool tubs, and butlers kitchens. Some rooms have TV/VCRs, all have air conditioning and individually controlled heat.

If the weather is not amenable for outdoor relaxing, you can read or play games in the living room or watch a movie from our 200 tape collection in the TV room.  We want you to make yourselves at home.  Come and relax away from the hubbub of everyday life, or just rest up after a busy day enjoying Vermont’s wonderful outdoor activities and shopping.  The inn is Near Stowe, Smugglers' Notch, and the Northeast Kingdom, providing plenty to do, summer or winter.

A full hot breakfast is served in the dining room every morning on a flexible schedule.  We are happy to prepare meals to meet any special diets, or at special times to accommodate your schedule.  Breakfast includes fruit, muffins or sweet breads, and a main dish such as Stuffed French Toast or John’s Savory Egg Casserole.

Cancellation Policy: 15 days for refund of deposit less $25 administration fee (30 days & $50 during Fall Foliage and Christmas / New Years holidays)
