Rocks & Rills Farm is an
antique-filled Colonial Williamsburg reproduction, nestled
in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The property is graced with a
magnificent view of the mountains from a large deck suspended over
beautiful lawn and gardens.
We
are close to outstanding cuisine, antiquing, Civil War battlefields and many historical sites. The House is located on the site of
the Battle of Cool Springs. Close by is great golf, hiking, white water
rafting, and horse back riding. Hot air ballooning can be
arranged.
The Shenandoah River is located only
two miles from this tranquil retreat on a lovely dirt road perfect for
walking, hiking, or biking. A short drive to visit Harpers Ferry, West
Virginia or the Skyline Drive would round out the day, before returning
to our indoor heated swimming pool and hot tub, or an evening in front
of a roaring fire. Children, as well as pets, are always welcome.
The host speaks seven different languages
including fluent Spanish. We are located just an hour and a half west of
Washington, DC and only 30 minutes from Dulles International Airport;
and just 20 minutes east of Interstate 81.
Cancellation Policy: entire
amount refunded less a $20.00 cancellation fee if notified within 48
hours of arrival. Nothing back after that.
