When built in 1904, The Daily Ledger in Tacoma featured the house as "one of the largest and most attractive residence built this year..." Prior to the depressions era, the manor was called home by the families of a local railroad pioneer, a Tacoma city builder, and former mayor.

Prior to beginning the restoration in 1998, the house had been divided and run as a multi-unit dwelling for nearly 80 years. Today, you will find our labor of love is very much a home once again-with a grandeur reminiscent of its original intent. The care given has been focused on providing you with an exceptional, warm and inviting experience to enjoy and relish!
