Hillside House Bed & Breakfast
is a 4,000 square foot contemporary home set among an acre of pine and fur
trees, overlooking the entrance to Friday Harbor and Mt. Baker. It
is located just 3/4 of a mile from the marina, ferry terminal and airport and
1/2 mile from the center of town. Accommodations: Our seven distinctive guest rooms have private baths and window seats.
 Some
look into our 10,000 cubic foot atrium, filled with hanging baskets and a pond,
and the others have harbor views. All common areas and the outside deck enjoy
the harbor view as well. Most rooms have queen or king-size beds, one has two
twin beds and two will sleep three. The "Eagle's Nest" retreat is isolated on
the third floor and offers a king-size bed in a large room with a sitting area,
wet bar, TV/VCR, fireplace, panoramic view from a private balcony, and a
bathroom with a shower and two-person Jacuzzi bathtub.
Breakfast: Coffee, teas, juices, fresh fruit and homemade granola are available at 7:00 am
for early risers and we serve a full breakfast, buffet style, between 8:30 and
10:00. Coffee, teas, fruit, ice and our famous banana-chocolate chip cookies are
always within easy reach.
Hillside House has been
included in over 15 complimentary guidebooks, such as Best Places to Kiss and
Best Places to Stay in the Northwest. We cater to adults, in need of a
respite from their daily routines and do not accept children under 10 years of
age. We accept all major credit cards. Smoking is not permitted inside the
house. Hillside House is a 3-diamond AAA and 2-star Mobil property.
